When you aren’t obsessing over sports stats or your fantasy line up, you are…
making hip hop music, believe it or not.
Favourite sport?
I watch everything really, even darts (I know.) But if you were to ask me what my number one and two are, it’s basketball and boxing.
Favourite sports moment?
Kelly Gruber getting the triple play in the 1993 World Series then having it taken away. It highlights everything that’s great and wrong about baseball at the same time.
Favourite athlete?
This is a loaded question so if I’m going with right now, I have to say Floyd Mayweather, mostly because I think he’s hilarious. Mayweather is the most dominant athlete of any sport in the world today, maybe only challenged by Usain Bolt. In terms of pure inspiration, Lyoto Machida or Georges St. Pierre. Fighters are the most well conditioned athletes in the world, hands down. Plus they’re always like, meditating and stuff.
Favourite teams?
All teams from Toronto and Los Angeles.
Do you like long walks on the beach?
Not at the Harbourfront in Toronto. Shit gets rocky.
Jordan or LeBron?
Gretzky or Orr or Crosby?
Brodeur. But really, Gretzky. I just wanted to shout out Marty.
P.Manning or Brady?
Definitely Peyton. If you were to choose your all time fantasy team of football players you’d HAVE to put Manning in there. He’d run any system and make it successful. Plus call all your plays for you. Give him great receivers and it’s going down. I’m not sure Tom Brady does the same without Belichick. And Peyton has better endorsements. #justsaying
Ruth or Mays?
Since I didn’t actually get to see them play, I’m going with Derek Jeter or Ken Griffey Jr. here. The untainted ones in the steroid era are vastly under appreciated.
You would sell your __ for Super bowl/World Cup/ Stanley Cup/ NBA Championship/ World Series.
Sell? I expect to get media passes.
Why are you a Model Sports Fan? (as in devoted/crazy ass sports fan)
Sports is the only thing I watch on TV because it’s the one of the only things that are still positive to view on the tube. There’s rules, a winner and loser, and healthy competition. It inspires me to be better, illicits emotion. And I’m not that bad looking :)
