When you aren’t obsessing over sports stats or your fantasy line up, you are: marketing for an insurance brokerage.

Favourite sport?
Having lived in Toronto my entire life hockey has been engrained in me and will always be my favourite sport. However, after doing a little bit of travelling outside North America I finally understand why soccer is the number one sport in the world and it has steadily risen in my ranks to now sit on par with hockey.

Favourite sports moment?
Crosby’s Golden Goal in the 2010 Vancouver Olympics. The way it gripped and united the entire country was incredible. The post game national celebration was probably the biggest party Canada has ever seen.

Favourite athlete?
Right now? Lionel Messi. He is the definition of deft on the pitch. How he manages to keep ball control, while running full speed, and making entire teams miss is mind boggling at times.

Favourite teams?
Toronto Maple Leafs
Toronto Blue Jays
Barcelona FC
Chelsea FC

Do you like long walks on the beach?
Yes- preferably with a beer in hand.

Jordan or LeBron?
Jordan. I’d even put Kobe ahead of LeBron at this point. However, time could change all that. It all comes down to rings.

Gretzky or Orr or Crosby?
Gretzky. Most goals AND most assists OF ALL TIME? How can someone argue against that?

P.Manning or Brady?
Brady. Again, it comes down to why you play the game- to win championships. And Brady has won more.

Ruth or Mays?
Ruth. Not only was he one of, if not, the best hitters in the history of the game. The man could pitch as well (the only active player with a lower lifetime ERA is Mariano Rivera). Have to go with the double threat.

You would sell your ability to differentiate between low sodium soya sauce and regular soya sauce for Super bowl/World Cup/ Stanley Cup/ NBA Championship/ World Series.

Why are you a Model Sports Fan?
Because sports are the first thing I think about when I wake up. Literally. The first thing I do when I open my eyes is check my Score app and my ESPN streak. And I love my city (Toronto) even though in terms of success it hasn’t had what most people would refer to as ‘any’ for longer than I care for. But that doesn’t deter me. Once a fan, always a fan – win or lose. That said, I could use a few more wins sometime in ever…
